It is always fascinating to see how interested the powers-that-be are in making laws and insisting that everyone else should follow them, while attempting to completely ignore the laws that govern their own actions and behavior. Double standard, over and over again — the continual desire to hold private citizens to a higher standard than public officials and employees. Let’s see if we can think of any obvious examples: Lt. Gov. Greg Bell. Attorney General Mark Shurtleff. Attorney General John Swallow. Millard County Commissioner Daron Smith. Millard County Attorney Rich Waddingham. Millard County Clerk, Norma Brunson. Millard County Sheriff’s Department. It never ceases to amaze me.
You may not be aware that what you have done to the signs is a class B misdemeanor. Mr. Lovato,removing them from their original place and defacing them is a no no. The gov signed the bill, now chapter 20A-17-102. You may want to read it. You have posted pix of your crime….pretty bold. Are you doing it just to bait LE or are you that dumb? Surprised your MacAtty is blind to that. You guys sure were/are quick to judge the sheriff’s office when you outright broke the law and published it. Good job!
